Description

Dear Customer, As part of our ongoing commitment to security and compliance with industry standards such as Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) v4.0, Maxpay will be updating its security policy to disable support for several outdated and weak TLS ciphers. This change requires action from your organization to ensure you remain connected to our service. In order to protect against weaknesses in some older TLS ciphers, customers are required to support state-of-the-art Transport Layer Security (TLS) ciphers from Jun 2, 2025. What is changing? Effective Jun 2, 2025, the following TLS ciphers will be permanently disabled in Maxpay’s production environment: TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_128_CBC_SHA256 TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_256_CBC_SHA384 TLS_RSA_WITH_AES_128_CBC_SHA256 TLS_RSA_WITH_AES_256_CBC_SHA256 This change is aimed at enhancing the security of data transmitted between your systems and Maxpay services. What is required from my organization? Maxpay recommends customers follow this guide (https://support.maxpay.com/hc/en-us/articles/19491329380892-TLS-FAQ) to make the required update. Customers need to support one of the available ciphers from this list to continue connecting to the Maxpay Platform. Customers who do not support ciphers listed in the guide, will no longer be able to connect to the service from Jun 2, 2025. No action is required if your systems are already configured to use up-to-date TLS v1.3 ciphers. Thank you for your attention to this important security enhancement. — The Maxpay Team
